Day 127

Day 127 - Crimson Fields

I had to go out to McMinnville for work today and came across a stunning field of red flowers, there were acres and acres of these beauties.

ISO 100, 100mm, f/7.1, 1/100 sec.

Upon closer inspection, they looked like clover, but we had no clue what they were until we got home and looked them up.

ISO 100, 105mm, f/4.0, 1/8oo sec.

They are crimson clover, an annual that is planted in the fall as a cover crop.

  1. I like the way how they are lined up with the green background in the first shot. Nice!
