Day 300 - The Lone Red
When I moved to the Pacific Northwest I quickly became enamoured of the Japanese maple trees that were everywhere. Seven years ago we planted a pair of them side-by-side, one is red and the other is green.
While I was working this afternoon I was obviously worried more about my photo of the day than the work at hand. The only thing I could think about was trying to isolate one red leaf against the golden orange background of the second tree.
Oh how I adore that 100mm lens. We are one.
Lovely! I myself am a big fan of the Japanese Maples. Gorgeous.
