Day 420 - Heritage
During last weeks portrait class, we had a guest from the Lakota Sioux tribe. I wish I could remember his name, but his a grandson of Chief Red Cloud. He is wearing a replica of a garment that Chief Red Cloud wore.
Although he was very serious about his heritage, including a smudging before the portrait shoot, clearly he had a playful side.

Great portraits! Really like the lighting in the top photo
ReplyDeleteHi Y'all,
ReplyDeleteFantastic photos. I like the "playful side". It has a more human, real person feel than the formal top portrait.
I agree, the lighting is very dramatic in the top photo.
BrownDog's Momma
Fantastic lighting.
ReplyDeleteThe first one is definately more formal, it shows dignity and pride. The second one is fun and personal. They are both equally fantastic but my fav is definately the first one.
Ladies and Gentlemen......
