Day 549 - Why it rains so much in Oregon

So that every field is cluttered with wildflowers.

It's a scorcher today, 85°, wonder when the rains will come back.

    Such beautiful flowers.

    Sigh. 85 sounds cool. Here temps normally hit the upper 90's and if lucky cool to the upper 70's at night.

    Drought has cost the farmers many crops this year. Many farmers harvested their first crop and the second hasn't made. Don't know if they'll get a third or if there is any hope for the cotton crop this year.
