Day 560 - Evening glory

ISO 200, 200mm, f/4.0, 1/320 sec

Guess this morning glory missed the memo that it was supposed to close down in the evening.

I've never seen so many morning glories as we have this year. They are clearly enjoying the cooler days we've had this summer.

  1. Maybe that bit of loveliness is a moonflower -

  2. Great shot...like the green background as contrast to the flower...

  3. I wish we could say the same thing! I feel like I'm going to burn up into a cloud of ash just walking out the door! That flower is beautiful. If only I could stand going outside long enough to see if we had any flowers worth photographing!

  4. I've always loved Morning Glory, even if it is an invasive weed...heehee

  5. Just breathtaking. How come flowers look so calm and cool in the heat while we die? Love the white flower and green contrast background too.
