What is a thing-a-ma-gig?
I'm guessing this must have been a collar for a work horse or maybe a mule? From the writing on the walls, we're pretty sure they had cattle, but I don't think I have ever seen a collar strapped onto a cow.
But then, I'm a city slicker, what do I know?

ReplyDeleteIt's a draft horse collar, possibly one used to pull a plow. I grew up with a lot of that stuff, and that picture sure brings back memories!
