Day 334

ISO 200, 75mm, f/8.0, 1/80 sec.

Day 334 - A new appreciation

Today I developed a whole new appreciation for photographing children, something I really haven't done on my 365 adventure.

Two smiles and four eyes going the same direction, towards me, nearly impossible.

I was taking photographs for the Foundation at the college and I didn't have much time to entertain, distract or get to know the kids like all of the books suggest. I was robbed, these kids were adorable and I would have loved to have had a little more time.

  1. Lovely portrait with eye level POV. Lighting seems to have well balanced in this portrait shot.

  3. I spent too much time today trying to get the right light for a quick headshot. I wish I had gotten anything close to as good as this is. All I can say is "Thank God for LightRoom." It helped me pull that disaster back from the brink.

  4. Adorable!
    Great portrait. Awesome catch lights.
Did those books also tell you to stock up on energy drinks? For the photographer that is. Photographing children is such a rewarding and awesome experience for me but I am usually exhausted at the end of the session but I still love it.

  5. I love photographing kids so I feel your disappointment and not getting to know them. They are so fun. This is a beautiful portrait!
